What a fantastic week of running and athletics from our South Devon athletes competing at Exeter Harriers Open, the respected SDAC 3k relays, 5k Parkrun, Totnes Mile and Tavistock Devon Open.
Exeter Harriers Open
The Tuesday evening open saw the SDAC 4 make the trip to Exeter Arena to compete: Fin Cull was first in the long jump with 5.47m and finished in 12:13 in the 100m and in 24:99 in the 200m. Rowan Alexander-Kemp achieved a PB of 1.60m in the high jump. Melissa Bonnett was first in the shot put with a PB of 7.66m and finished with 16.14m in the javelin. Henry Gardiner achieved a PB of 2:15:26 in the 800m. Strong performances guys, well done!!
Tavistock Devon Open and Quadrathlon results
It was a really great day of quality athletics at Tavi track with our boys U11 quad team of William, Theo, Harley and Max finishing a magnificent 3rd in the highly competitive and fun quad competition. Isla Perry bagged 2 first places in the 100m & 300m and extends her winning streak.

- Ava Green 75m: 13.24, 16th. 600m: 2:15:39 PB, 11th. Long jump: 2.68m, 13th. Hammer throw: 14m PB. Overall 12th place with 200 points.
- Faith Levett 75m: 13:34 PB, 17th. 600m: 2:21:00 PB, 14th. Long jump: 2.36m, 19th. Hammer throw: 19.81m PB, 6th. Overall 20th place with 203 points.
- Harley Harries 75m: 14:57, 23rd. 600m: 2:32:56, 23rd. Long jump: 2.28m, 25th. Hammer throw: 27.20m PB, 6th. Overall 16th place with 164 points.
- Max Parisi 75m: 12:26, 5th. 600m: 2:21:27 PB, 15th. Long jump: 3.61m, 2nd. Hammer throw: 16.52m, 22nd. Overall 13th place with 219 points.
- Theo Green 75m: 13:02 11th. 600m 2:16:44 12th. Long jump 3.18m 6th. Hammer throw 19.78m 18th. Overall 14th place with 206 points.
- William Crisp 75m: 14:90, 24th. 600m: 2:35:18 PB, 24th. Long jump: 2.44m, 20th. Hammer throw: 27.43m, 5th. Overall 16th place with 164 points.
- Rowan Alexander-Kemp 800m: 2:26:75 PB, 4th. High jump: 1.55m, 1st.
- Richard Perry 3000m: 11:25:85, 7th.
- Melissa Bonnet shot put: 7.17m, 16th. Discus: 15.96m PB, 18th. Javelin: 14.75m 4th.
- Isla Perry 100m: 1st in 12:70. 300m: 1st in 41:80.
- Jacob Levett 100m: 15:44 PB, 9th. Long jump: 3.17m, 9th.
- Fynn Perry 100m: 15:43 PB, 8th. 75m Hurdle: 15:96, 1st. High jump: 1.20m, 2nd.
- George Harries 800m: 2:40:72 PB, 5th. High jump 1.20. 3rd. Long jump: 3.44m, 7th.
Totnes 1 mile
Roux Tucker stormed the course and came 3rd overall and 1st in his U10 age category. Georgina White also rocked the course and was 1st girl and 1st in her U10 age category too. Lexie Tedstone put in a magnificent run and finished 3rd girl and also 2nd in her age category. Great running from our trio in this well attended and competative race.
South Devon 3k Relays
The juniors put in two teams in this highly competative race with 70 teams competing from around the local area. Henry Gardener (2 legs), Theo Green and Roux Tucker finished 20th overall which is really impressive as Theo and Roux are just 9 yrs old. Ava Green, Georgina White, Christina Martin and Pippa King came 53rd… again 2 of the team were only 9yrs old – awesome running.
We also fielded a mixed, older team of 2 parents, an uncle and a senior junior who completed in 42nd place – again brilliant running SDAC!
Velopark 5k Parkrun
Roux Tucker finished in a time of 21:58 – 34th overall. Lexie Tedstone finished in a time of 28:41 – 221 overall. Awesome!!
